From the Executive Director
Hope flickers brightest in the face of adversity.
This is the spirit that drives REWAC forward as we embark on a new chapter.
Since 2009, REWAC has been a beacon of support for countless refugees, asylum seekers, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and other marginalized populations and vulnerable communities in Cameroon. We’ve witnessed their struggles, celebrated their resilience, and relentlessly advocated for their fundamental rights: the right to safety, dignity, and a brighter future.
This year brings renewed purpose. We’re excited to share updates on our critical work, from strategic legal interventions to empowering initiatives for marginalized communities. We’ll delve into crucial themes like access to education, healthcare, and protection from violence (SGBV).
Our vision remains unwavering: a Cameroon where every displaced individual is valued, protected, and empowered to reach their full potential.
Join us on this journey. Together, let’s build a brighter future for those who have lost so much.
Stay tuned for inspiring stories, impactful updates, and ways YOU can make a difference!
Warm Regards,
Dr, Mukete Tahle Itoe, Phd
Country Director,
REWAC
