Partnering for Progress: The King Baudouin Foundation in the United States of America ( KBFUS) and the Refugee Welfare Association of Cameroon (REWAC) partner to Raise Funds for Vulnerable Migrants Displaced by the ongoing crisis in Cameroon

As the crisis in Cameroon’s restive Anglophone regions continues to worsen, the vulnerability of migrant groups in the area has become increasingly apparent. Many of these groups have been forced to flee their homes due to violence and conflict, leaving them without basic necessities such as food, shelter, and medical care. That’s why the Refugee Welfare Association (REWAC) has partnered with the King Baudouin Foundation United States (KBFUS) to organize a fundraising campaign to support these vulnerable migrant groups.

REWAC is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to providing aid and support to refugees and migrants in Cameroon, particularly those in the Anglophone regions. Through its work, the organization has been able to provide basic necessities such as food, shelter, and medical care to those who have been displaced by the conflict. However, with limited resources, REWAC is only able to provide a fraction of the support that is needed.

That’s where the KBFUS comes in. As a US-based organization, KBFUS facilitates donor support from US-based organizations to overseas nonprofits like REWAC. By partnering with KBFUS, REWAC is able to reach a wider audience and raise more funds to support their work.

The fundraising campaign is aimed at raising funds to support the work of REWAC in providing aid and support to vulnerable migrant groups in the Anglophone regions of Cameroon. The funds raised will be used to provide basic necessities such as food, shelter, and medical care to those who have been displaced by the conflict. Additionally, the funds will be used to support education and training programs that will help refugees and migrants rebuild their lives.

With your support, we can make a difference in the lives of vulnerable migrant groups in Cameroon’s restive Anglophone regions. Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated and will go a long way in helping REWAC provide the support that is desperately needed. Together, we can make a difference and help these vulnerable communities rebuild their lives.

Worthy of note is that all U.S.-based donors can make tax-deductible contributions to the REWAC Vulnerable Migrants US Fund at the King Baudouin Foundation United States (KBFUS). Because KBFUS is a public charity, within the meaning of Sections 501(c)(3) and 509(a)(1) of the IRC, donors may claim the maximum tax benefits allowed by U.S. tax law for their contributions. If you wish to support us, here is how to proceed:

Gifts by check: Address your check to KBFUS, write REWAC Vulnerable Migrants US Fund in the memo section of the check, and send it to KBFUS at 551 Fifth Avenue, Suite 2400, New York, NY 10176
